Frequently asked questions

Does it work with Google Calendar or Outlook?

CalendarPunch reads calendars connected to iOS, including iCloud, Google, and Outlook calendars that are available in Apple Calendar. Connect your account in iOS first, then give CalendarPunch access to Calendar and Alarms.

Do I need to move my events to a new calendar?

No. Keep creating and editing events in your existing calendar. CalendarPunch adds alarms to the events it can read on your device.

Do I need to open CalendarPunch when plans change?

Open CalendarPunch after adding or changing events to refresh your alarm plan. iOS controls background refresh, so calendar changes may not reach your alarms until you open the app. Optional refresh reminders can help you remember to check in.

Can I use it without paying?

Yes. Manually set alarms for individual events on one active calendar, including several alarm times per event. Pro adds recurring rules, multiple calendars, automatic arming for new events, and Pause All through one lifetime purchase.

Which devices and events are supported?

CalendarPunch requires iOS 26 or later, or iPadOS 26 or later on iPad. Calendar and Alarms access are required. Choose events with a start time; all-day events can’t have alarms yet.

How do keyword rules work?

With Pro, create a rule with a word or phrase, choose which fields to search (title, location, or notes), and set your alarm times. Matching ignores uppercase and lowercase and applies across your enabled calendars when CalendarPunch refreshes. Keyword rules add alarms; they don’t mute other events or override your individual and recurring alarm settings.
